Default I got the timing belt, etc done!!!

I took the TT down to 2bennett in Davis Ca. and had them do their timing belt service. First thing, they are a GREAT group of people. They answer all my annoying questions and give me tips and ideas. Super cool! Anyway, the list of items they took care of and for the price was GREAT!!
new water pump
serpantine belt tensioner
tensioner roller
timing belt
tensioner damper
multi rib belt
antifreeze
thermostat

I feel much better have the belt, etc done. Oh yes, the rig has 62k on it.

All that service and it was far less than the dealer........under 1300.00 bucks!

Just wanted to share the news and let people know that 2bennett is a great shop!

Cheers,
Chans

Good to hear, but thats a lot for a TB...I've seen a few deals for $900, and there is a sponsor on Vortex who will do it for $699...did they give you a cost breakdown? I'd like to see what they charged for the OEM parts

I have a break down and their prices for the OEM parts were actually less than the dealer. Not only did I get the TB done but the serpentine belt and everything else that touches it done. Im sure there is other places to get the service done for less, however I trust the shop and once again, they were a few hundred less than the dealer..........which is always good!

2bennett is still a great shop, although went with the ground control, I considered their camber plates in a close second.
