guys..comeon stay on topic here...
the reason i got this car is just for fun....im not looking for looks or power...
im just looking to have fun with this car. i just want the sound i guess...from the turbo...so i guess dv and intake ? makes the most sound for the turbo is that right? Would i have to have a chip in order for the car not to run lean or something ?

Ohh... Burn.Yes... Just a $20 cone intake will let you hear the turbo spool, and the DV will be much louder (I'd say about 1/2 as loud as an actual BOV). It's amazing how much it can to to make your car sound fast. When I did my cone filter i would boost and let off to "Pssht!" every ricer I passed.
And as a rule, in this forum, expect your thread to be changed, jacked, taken on tangents, and used for purposes other than the original about 75% of the time (I do it myself in about 20% of the threads). I'd get used to it if you want to enjoy your time here without pulling your hair out.

Doesn't it make sense to look around and buy a 225 to start with?
You can find them within $1000 of each other in similar condition and miles.
You can make a 180 fast, that's obvious from our members.
But 45 hp for a grand is about as cheap as it gets.

I got mine from advance auto.
Any generic cone filter is fine.
K&N is more expensive, and you use your stock airbox, so the sound won't be louder.
You remove the stock airbox and filter and put the cone in its place.
Takes all of 5 minutes. Enjoy
