Default How do you tell if fuel injectors are bad?

So im still trying to figure out what this weird sound is... It sounds like a clunk... it seems to happen during times associated with fuel and is really bad/loud/noticeable at idle... idk what the sound could be. any thoughts?

Is it like an engine knock? Because that's pretty bad and you shouldn't drive it....at all. My Porsche had a slight knock and that knock quickly turned into a *BANG* going 60mph around a corner and the engine siezed. Get her checked...

will the timing belt start to yell at you before it breaks? or would that just break?

Usually it's the tensioner that goes first, silent but deadly!

Personally I'd get a bottle of injector cleaner and put it in the tank, while looking for timing belt kits!
dieselgeek or www.ecstuning.com Take your pick, but I believe the diselgeek kit is more complete and cheaper.

Preventive maintenance isn't something to dread. You've read the posts of what happens when timing belts fail.
It's not pretty, and very costly!
