this thread scares me.
i had a friend who's honda fell on him while working underneath, and luckily he was able to scream out just once before the brake caliper crushed his chest.
the neighbor was able to hear him and got the car jacked back up just in time. dude was in the hospital for about a month.
if the neighbor didnt hear him, my boy would have been DEAD.
please, gentlemen, be careful here.

i really dont believe we still are talking about how hard it is to jack the car up on jacks...its not hard at all...and for this application i didnt place the jacks under the oem jack pads...instead where the chasis comes together and makes a fold on both sides of the car...they arevery strong points and having the jacks set right play a huge part in safety....ive never had an issue with jack stands...just have to know where to place them.....i did mine on two thick sheets of plywood...thats the only scarypart when i did mine...since then mymodding garage is now all concrete and heated
