Im from Ohio. Thats all there is between Cincy/Daytonto Columbus and north of Dayton.

 

chicago recently excused 1995 and older cars from the sniffer emissions testing..so my MR2's catalytic converter magically disappeared shorty after

anyway..one more question about the SAI..with my 60 second start up noisy problem..is that more of an annoyance, or should I look into getting it fixed..? I wouldn't mind the noise at this time..

It should be noticable, but not super loud. You should check the plasitic lines for cracks since they are know to break... happened to me.

 

Its because the SAI is still getting power, nothing is breaking on it, all you have to do is unplug it and put a 10W 330 OHM in its place. Then you will be good to go. Here is a link.

thanks for the link..i might hold off, because I don't want to take any chances getting hassled at the emissions station.

as long as I know the SAI isn't majorly broken, i'll leave it as it is and look for cracked hoses when i get a moment. thanks.
