Anyone hve experience using this valve on a tt? Im currently on a stock tune but will prob be goin giac later this yr, I heard I can use it cause it is closed during idle, and if my car doesn't like it I can always recirc it. no one seems to hve any experience with Thm just alot of bad mouthing cause they're not diverter valves, any input is appreciated. - Rich

 

There are mainly negative reviews about them and I can say from my personal experience that I tried it both ways with my last TT. Using the Recirc was much more effective on a performance aspect. If you don't care about performance, vent away Sir!

i really dont wanna start the dv vs. bov debate haha even though its bound to happen, my tt is tiptronic so i dont worry about the extra lag i can get from a bov n i hve no cat so im not worried about damaging it, and im only 18 so the sound of a bov makes me happy n makes kids my age crowd by my car whn i pull up

 

They work. You can use it either way. It's stock, so it wont make much noise and it's an auto so you again won't hear it. Save money and just get a direct swap if you need a new one.
