So my air intake filteris collapsing and someone told me that the hks mushroom air intake filter is very good. has anyone ever used one before? I see them a lot on my friends supra's and bmw's, but never seen one on an audi. I hear they breath a lot better becuase they are foam.Just let me know thanks

Saw a 500 HP TT the other night at a tuning shop and it had the HKS filter on it. I suppose it probably isn't bad.

You know those air filters they use on sprint cars? They look like shoe boxes, and are about that size... K&N sells them, they're only about $700. They'll flow upto 2700CFM ; )

I think the mean green air filter is over-rated. Not to mention it doesnt go with my color scheme under the hood lol!

I had a generic version for awhile. Its not oiled so you dont have to worry about it messing up the maf.
