I have a FWD and did the 3" downpipe with my stock exhaust. Sounded good, but your CEL will come on if your running no cat... which the new downpipe comes with a testpipe (cat delete). After running that setup for awhile (dp to no cat to stock exhaust) I went the the borla and had a guy fab my stock cat to fit the 3" DP and then go into the 2.5" borla system. I love my exhaust system now, and no CEL. Its running great and sounds very throaty. If you want I can post a video up of the sound. Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any questions. Yes, however, I would DEFINENTLY go with the chip before ANYTHING else. The chip will blow your mind!!!
