ok i got a bad situation here!!! i have a 02 tt 225 and i got a modshack intake, also revo chip, hyper boost dv. ok keep all this in mind cus i just got the intake, but the week i got the intake my motor mount broke, well not the mount two screws the go into the engine. thank god i was able to take out the broken peices that were inside the engine. i replaced the screws myself and wasn't able to torque them. after this issue which by the way i fix my car at the walmart parkin lot because that is where my motor dicided to take a crap on me. so yea that suxed. now within a week after this the check engine light came on wit a MAF code so i replaced that! well the check engine light came back on wit a different code that stillsays MAF and say somethin about low curcuit. some1 told me vac leak. ok it gets better. my traction control light came on wit the check engine light too! and there is more the motor mount broke again the next day when i was bringing it to get wahed before i dropped it off at the shop! i just got in the new motor mounts, ordered performance ones from VF engineering , hope they good!(let me know)but i was wonderin if anyone knows it the intake can be the problem wit my car as far as the check engine or if it my have happened when the motor fell the first time. oh and the power steerin hose came out when it fell sh*t sux bad!! i'm replacein the motor mounts myself and this time i will def torque them but i don't know how to find the vac leak any ideas???

first code was P1136 and now it's P0102 with the ESP light on!!! on top of the broken motor mount!

Have you checked the electrical connection to the maf sensor? *shrugs*

no i haven't can u let me know what to look for? well i mean i'll look to see if they are in bad shape but is there somethin spefic u mean?also i see that u are well informed on the TTthis is way outta this topic what is the normal engine temperture range that the engine should be running?

Right, just make sure there aren't any exposed or frayed wires leading to the MAF sensor.
A few others with MAF problems have also had their ESP light come on...

Check out the link I posted to AW in your other thread. Bunch of TT owners comparing block 49.
The general census seems to be between 74*C and 94*C.

okay well i checked the wires they look good and replaced the MAF. still code p1020 and still the traction control stays on. after i erase the code it comes back in like a half. anyideas on what to look for.

Do you have a boost gauge?
Are you showing any leaks?

nah i don't have a gauge yet!! and the issue is that i don'T want pay like 100 just for them to tell me it was a hose with aleak. would i be able to hear the leak??

Not unless you've got one of these laying around... mechanic's stethoscope

Go pick up a boost gauge from autozone/pepboys for like $30 - $40, you need one anyway! And check the hoses around your DV and intake.
Make sure all of your hoses are connected and tightened with a hose clamp.
