Headlight Lens
I found someone local that has just a lens he is going to sell me. I figured it would be a good option cause I already did an amber delete and smoked corners on my headlights andwant a lens thats not covered in oxidation (or what ever itis). The question is....does anyone know of a way to clean the old lens before I buy a new one and tear off the front end of my car again?
Ive been trying to use PlasticX (thinks thats the name) but it ain't doing sh*t. I'd be willing to try anything short of wet sanding. I wet sanded my tails and dont get how I can get it buffed to a shine. I was at 1500 grit and all that did was take the shine off.

you wax the hell out of it on! I used alot a nice thick coat! let it dry for like 10-15mins then wipe off I use it on my tt too to keep the lights clean....
shoot i didn't see where you allready tried it it didnt work thats surprising! Try it again in a huge thick coatr scrub the hell out of the light in a circular motion let it dry for a good 10-15 minutes then wipe it off...

RE: Headlight Lens
Haven't had any luck with plastic polishes, short of using them with a buffing wheel. I have one lens newer than the other, so I need to buff the old one up to par.
Check this out, I think the 1500 polish followed by the cutting creme would be perfect... For the whole car.

I grabbed the lens last night and didnt anticipate the person selling it to me was a girl. She knew her TT talk for sure. I thought I was going to grab the lens and get out of there but we talked modding for like a half hour. On top of that shepulled up ina (Candy Apple Red) Toureg with color matched rims. What am I doing wrong that I don't have two vehicles?
