Slightly OT- You guys think a haldex swap makes the car handle like sex, try haldex blueswap and almost ALL poly bushings. My suspension is stock, the sway bars are stock, and my car is handlingclose tomy brothers 968 w/ the upgraded sportsuspension package. I have Kmac rear bushes, the Kmac strut tower kit, which is a poly pillow instead of the soft rubber one, also the powerflex front/rear A-arm bushings. Only non-engine related bushings left stock are the subframe bushings, sway bar,and the steering gear.

I got the Haldex Blue, Neuspeed 19mm rear bar with poly bushings, and Powerflex front sway bar bushings. Why the cars don't come from the factory this way I don't understand.

The main reason why is "not all drivers of TT's are skilled enough to drive them". The factory TT is "SAFE" lots of understeer and very predictable in extreme maneuvers.

(BTW, my rant is not directed at you.)

RE: haldex install question.
19mm rear sway alone makes the car nearly neutral. Anything beyond that takes it beyond the skills of your average driver. Not necessarily for "normal" driving, but in a panic situation or on slick roads most cars these days opt for understeer. Snap oversteer is not something you can recover from very easily. Understeer is a very safe condition for the occupants. I agree the TT's stock setup sucks eggs. I've dropped over $5K in mine on suspension, brakes, etc to improve the handling to make it more of a sports car like it should be, but in the hands of an inexperienced driver it's not to be underestimated. Remember, when the TT first came out it was over $35K. Having money doesn't mean you have the skills necessary. Go to WreckedExotics and look at how many high dollar cars have been wrecked by those who couldn't handle them.
