I love that GTT site, sooo many things I'd love to have on my car. I actually emailed them to see if they might have a job opening for a TIG welder. I'd love to move to europe and build parts for TT's. No response from them though : (
No clue on legality, but my guess is that its probably loud enough to attract attention if you're getting into the throttle much. Attention isn't always a good thing.

ya i got an email back from them saying that they have sold to ppl in the US but they also said its not loud enough to draw that kinda attention.
