Default Greetings from new member + 1 question!

Hi all! I have a 2003 Lake Silver 1.8 TTC and it just ran out of warranty so it's time for modding. I've been lurking around the forums for a month now and I like what I see around here. To tell you the truth, I come from the BMW world and know nothing of Audis. The car just turned 22k kms and is bone stock. Right now, I'm focused on modding the exterior as the interior and performance of the car is fine with me.

I have decided to go with the PPI RSTT front bumper, along with it's sideskirt and rear spoiler. I have a friend in Europe that can hook me up with those parts . For the rear bumper, I was deciding between the Rieger R-Frame bumper extension or keeping my stock bumper, taking off the tumor (Canadian car), and install a honeycomb valence. What do you guys think?

Last but not least, I will go with BBS LM's 8.5x18 ET25 w/ 225/40/18 all around. My question is, will this offset fit the car if it's lowered? Most wheel fitments I see for the TT are 8x18 ET35. I'm not going to slam the car but I want to get rid of the wheel/fender gap.

Hope I haven't bored you guys with my FIRST post [:'(]. Any help will be appreciated!

If you have quattro you can use this offset calculator.

Hmm...thanks for the great link! Judging by that, he's using ET16 in the rear, which on the 180FWD is 8mm wider in the rear, makes it ET24. Sweet, ET25 all around works

Once you figure out ECS doesn't have all of the sizes that you need, you can check this place out. Parts4VW
