I got 20% done on mine like a week ago... I like it...but its really hard to see out of it at night...i also have a strip done on the top of my windsheld...freaking rocks on sunny days....

When im driving down streets that are lit... I can see out just fine....nice thing is ...people cant see me!

 

i have nothing on the front windshield, 35 on the passanger and driver, and 15 in the rear

i like it b'c at night the 35 looks like the 15, and during the day its hard to see in, but if you try you can see my face pretty easily

 

well the legal % in my state is 32% i already knew that when i got mine done, so far i have passed like 10 cops in the last two days and i haven't had any problems. i love the way it looks, as far as night driving goes i am starting to get used to the tint and its getting easier to drive . i suggest eveyone het em tinted, it looks so nice on TT's.

 

The tint job really does " up " the looks of this car.... i have a blue tt...im even to the point if should paint the top black[8D] ...how sick would that look!?!

 

I had a 5% tint on my TT. Had to pull it off, (cops) but it looked awesome!

 

yeah having the windows dark makes it more cop appealing but atleast we have Audi's. they don't grab the cops attention as much since they are mostly adult cars and not teenager cars. but i know there are a couple young people on here including me that have TT's. anyway **** the cops, take my tint over a ticket anyday!

 

thats the way i feel about people needing their headlights painted. Makes the car look much better and more upscale.

 

Ive had 5% all the way around before with no legal issues in FL.

I would like to get the TT done in 5% as well, and I already plan on getting the roof and pillars sprayed black, but the looks are last on my list of things to do.

:edit: Night driving is kinda rough at first. When I picked my car up with the 5% for the first time it was dark and I had to back out. It looked awesome, but visibility sucked. As timegoes on though you get used to it and the disability fades(you learn how to back up using only the side-missors).

I think there was a special edition at some point that came from the factory with the black roof. Some people do it on thier own too.

I really like the look of it. I can get it done cheap, but its still not high up on the list. Eventually, though.
