Default Gas Mileage

First, I did a search and nothing turned up; I can't believe this hasn't come up before. At any rate, I know this would not affect my gas mileage but I installed a boost guage and since then I've seen a drastic decrease in my miles per tank. I'm talking I used to fill up when my trip read 415-450 miles and now I'm lucky to get 360! Of course the first tank after the boost guage didn't last long because I was playing with the needle in traffic but after that. On the tech side, it's been 2300 miles since my last oil change and I just changed the plugs, coils, and put in a K&N to try to make mpg better. So, I'm wondering what kind of gas mileage do you guys get on a regular basis? Even you moded guys, what do you get with the K04's and such? Thanks for the help!

I've mentioned my milage before, but its a terrible comparison, because its fairly hilly in upstate NY, and all my driving to work is over the hills, rarely sticking to the flat ground in the valleys. I have noticed a difference in summer/winter, I get better milage in the summer. Right now, in the 10° cold, I'd normally see 21mpg, in the summer, I have seen 23-24mpg. I'm lucky to see 350 miles to a tank on a good week.

I'm getting about 27-29mpg right now. About 300 miles until my computer says I'm empty and when I go to fill up I can only get 10-11 gallons in.

Here in flat, hot, humidFlorida I get about 320 miles per tank average. Sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less. But always around there.

It's important I know this as my fuel gauge no longer tells me the truth

Right fox?

For what it's worth... 28.5 mpg pretty much every fill-up. But I drive on the freeway at 75 - 80 for 50 miles round trip for work 5 days a week, so I'm getting mostly interstate mileage. All stock.

You must get stuck in Miami traffic a lot because living in West Florida, where the term traffic jam is seldom if ever used, even at high boost and my cruise control set. I get about 36mpg at 45mph and about 31mpg at 70mpg and around town at 35 I get about 27mpg and always over 400 miles/tank!

I drive fairly aggressively and I get around 400 miles per take, I drive 73 miles per day work and back...plus city driving....I only fill up once per week....

I have some light mods.....I've heard however the APR chip actully helps with mpg.

whats everyones thoughts on that?

I averaged 350+ miles per tank before the chip, now down to about 320 after.
