lets see if I'm learned enough in the last few months.

FMIC do notadd horsepower. They help keep the power you have by limiting power loss due to heat.

Steve S. did a test on his forge mesuring the intake temp before and after the intercooler and calculated that the Forge FMIC runs about 90% efficency. The dual SMIC on the 225 run about 80% max. Its on his fokti page. Check it out.

yup and APR is more effective at cooling than that....bcuz of the design of the end tanks and core....they also claim the plumbing is better than everyone elses.

I have the 180 TT with a bigger turbo and just on smic was robbing me of alot of hp plus heating the whole engine up. I put an APR FMIC on and it really keeps the temp down giving back all that lost hp due to the intake air being so hot, which means less air and less power. It was a good bit of dollars but well worth it when you are doing a lot of mods.

The forge one was more around low 90% (92-94%) I can't imagine apr's to be much higher/more gains than that unless your using a gt35r @ no more than 10psi. You can only lower an air to air ic so far and anything in the 90% range isa good core.
