Default Forge Splitter valve

Ok so james aka "agn008" or whatever his user name is drove from illlinois (3.5hrs) to me in ft wayne last night stayed the night this morning we modded his car Diode, forge splitter, turbo xs hpbc, boost gauge in vent all went well except the forge splitter wont turn he can turn it to adjust the spring its locked tight any ideas? i told him to take it apart but he does not have the hex keys to do it...(hes gonna get em tomm) but for the mean time...what would you suggest for him to do. The problem is the spring tention is too tight and its not opening and closing as it should! Hes gonna take it apart tomm and if that does not work send it back but is there anything to do in the mean time...Should he put the stock dv back on for now? even with a diode at 20psi

Keep the stock valve in. Not hard if you take 2 secs to think about it

Stock is fine until it fails. Just because the boost is increased doesnt mean it will fail.

Not to sound like a smart ***, but he is just turning the very top of it right?! When I got mine it took me like 20 min. to figure out how to adjust it. That's why I was askin b/c it's hard to tell but only the very top where the vac line plugs in actually turn or clicks.
