Cincy, how soon beofre you have a kit put together? do you have a size figured out for the core? What about a 2 pass core, in and out on the same side for less piping for those of us with 180 hp engine. let me know

I need my car back so i can mock it up. I plan on taking the piping down the drivers side and across to the passenger side. It lets me change the piping size and use a better core. Plus the piping length with be close to the same. I have 2 cores picked out to use. One will be for stock to gt28rs/t3s60 and another for a gt2871r+. If i used the apr style core i would be limited on the piping to the core and those cores have a greater pressure drop.

a 2 pass core would be nice for us 180 TTers. but dont use the odd non-symmetrical APR core.

dude cinc, id just call the feds on the shop thats working on your TT. ur TT's been out of commission for the longest time. I'm all out of jokes [&o]

I just got my rods, pistons and everything else back, still need my block, head and crank back.

I could do the both inlet and outlet on the same side, but core selection sucks (cheap ebay and overpriced spearco cores). Not to mention the flow isnt as good, i cant control all the piping, and the look bad imho.

Cincy, if there were a few other people interested in a 2 pass core for the 180 hp could you check with the people that are going to make you core as to the cost of a 2 pass ( in and out same side.
Thanks Chris

I could, but you would be paying more for a decent ic. That is unless you want a oversize ebay core. Ill keep looking, but thats how it is from what im seeing. So the overall price will be close to the same for a vertical flow ic with less aftermarket piping.
