I meant when he ran an 8 I thought for a second that it was a 1/4 mile 8

why would he not use DSMlink to controlthen2o and use it after hooking up? hmm...
a DSM with n2o and cams has an enormous power range over the full band, from spooling up to 7500rpm... unless his snail runs outta breath

sounds like he's wasting the potential of his car

when my DSM was sprayed and controlled by DSMlink (above 2500rpm, above 20mph,at minimum 90% throttle, between a certain window of degrees of knock) it was fu(king awesome

and really, when running a GT35 on a 2.0, the overall power negates the slightly longer spool time. a good driver with a 1.6-ish 60ft time can run a quick 1/8, lil turbo or big turbo

2 step = anti-lag

Plus the only time you have lag on a drag race is in first if at all. Not to mention a 4g63 can rev to over 8k stock which helps out greatly.

my buddy uses the anti-lag feature in DSMlink and it fries his o2 sensors everytime. I only tried it once and decided it wasn't worth it, since track fees and c16 were expensive enough as

pretty sick seeing repetative fireballs shoot out of the exhaust though, it sounds like a cannon!

man Cincy, I wish our cars had power up above 5500... we've got a small powerband compared to 4g63s. last night I was showing a friend how the TT feels, and once I got above 5500 and shifted, I only had a fraction of a second before I felt the power die out and had to shift again. what gear do we usually finish the 1/4 in? my DSM was at the top of 3rd when crossing the line usually

The anti-lag causes a series of missfires and that actually greats boost pressure. Misfires are as you know bad for the engine to do it over and over again.

5sp will finish in 3rd
6sp will need to shift just before the line so 4th
