Default First Time At The Strip Tonight

I know the TT isnt a straight line car. Just tryin to have a little fun w/ all my honda buddies. As the title says this is the first time I have had the TT at the strip and only the second time I have drove a the strip (other was in the celica) so my r/t sucks!!! HAHA

So what are your mods? This puts you at a 14.xx 1/4? I was reviewing your times compared to my GTP, I run quarters, and your over a second slower compared to my 13.1 time. I am trying to figure out what your 1/2 would be because I plan on racing mine this Summer, and I would like to know what my estimates should be around...

eh not bad 1/8 et.

even though honda's have polluted the country, they still are beasts on the track. i'm pretty sure for the cost of an apr stage 3+, you can buy and build a faster EF/EG. lol.

NOt sure why any imports race the 1/8 lol..... We race 1/8 mile tracks sometimes and its for the big boys..1/8 mile tracvks are all 60 ft tracks....guys running 1.25 60 ft's and 3 speeds with 5.56 rear gears.... not sure how much fun it would be in an import fwd car...id get a better run in my TT on an on ramp to I-95

I remember a show on the Discovery channel about a kid with a 1g DSM racing a civic, where both cars were 'built' in a day by shops (I think that Dr Charles guy who does Honda stuff built the DSM) The kid sprayed his DSM and I think the announcer said it ran an 8... anyway, my jaw dropped cuz I had a similar setup on my 2g DSM. Then Iheardit was an 1/8th mile strip which makes no sense to me, since you cant showcase all the cars' power through the first 3 gears

it all depends on how the dsm was built i have a friend who has an evo and his car is a "2nd half track car" now another friend of mine built a 1G dsm just for racing use and that was an 1/8th mile car until he used his nitrous at the 1/8th mile for the rest of the way down the track a big turbo built motor should only be used for 1/4 mile because of the lag and a smaller turbo car can be used for both because of the lag time being less than that of a GT35R or a big HOLSET
