Yeah... what boost controller? Meaning I don't have one, and this is happening as a result of just the flash.
I'm headed there tomorrow to get re-flashed. I've seen boost spikes of 21 PSI and vac drops of 30 in. hg...
I don't think that's too common on a 91-93 GIAC x-file flash...

Funny thing is when I hit 21 PSI the car is pulling oh so sweet.
EPC and P1335 will come on when I'm just cruising around going easy on it, or right before the onset of boost.

It really makes no sense to get an over boost/torque code when your not even boosting/"torqueing"!

yes i strongly agree..my epc never comes on when im stepping on it either only when cruising. i hope that reflash fixes our prob..

 

so my check engine light is on again i dont know what to do. I got the same code has anyone had this problem fixed...please help!!!!

what does that mean?

 

After getting re-flashed P1335 and the EPC light were back to their old routine.
So, I ordered a MBC... So far so good! It's set at 9 clicks and holding steady at 15 psi.
The onset of boost is MUCH smoother and holds a helluva lot longer (kinda how a MBC should work ya know).

No codes/EPC light since the install, but we'll see how good it really works.
I'll give an update in a week, and let you guys know if I have any codes or what have you.

I really hope this does the trick!
