Heh!
Sorry can't help but to giggle....

I've replaced my IAT sensor, throttle positioning sensor (new gas pedal assembly), maf, coolant temp sensor, PCV valve (flat one off the air box), breather valve, new DV; in attempts to get rid of this damn code and EPC light!!!

What TT do you have, and where did you get flashed?
If it's AWE tuning in Willow Grove, you're more than welcome to come with me on Monday or Tuesday to "resolve" this issue!

My EPC and P1335 started 4 days or approx. 150 miles after being flashed...

I feel your pain! [:@]

BTW you can turn the car off while it's moving and restart it.. Just make sure your in neutral, and try not to do it at night.
Other drives really don't appreciate your headlights going off and turning back on...

Edit: Oh yeah, I also met this other TTer at a local tuning shop by my parents house in NY.
He drives an 01 180 quattro, and had the same damn problem with his GIAC flash...
He switched to REVO and the problem disappeared...

i have a 2000 180hp quattro ..and yes i got it done by AWE tuning lol haha. well i just got off the phone with them and they are suggesting that is not the sofware and they think i have a boost leak so back to square one with me : (
Let me know how everything works out after you get it reflashed i just dont want to take the drive out there, in the mean time im gonna check if i have a boost leak.

What a co-quinkie-dink!
Quickest way to check for a leak is to install a boost gauge. You should have one anyway!

Once you find out that's not the problem; I think it'd be really interesting for both of us to go there at the same time.
I was told "We've never heard of this problem before, we'd need at least 3-4 days to really dig into your car."
^That's not cool with me!
After telling them by boost gauge readings I was also told "That doesn't sound like typical limp mode, because even then you can still drive the car."

I hope in your case it is just a really big boost leak!
Best of luck to you!

are you sure there are no other codes stored in there? you should get it cleared and see what happens to it then go ahead and wait till epc comes on again.

btw the max tq /mx boost exceeded happened to me when i cranked up my MBC past the program limits of my flash. i cleared those codes and they never came back
