This is frustrating the crap out of me.

My battery suddenly died - no reviving - so I bought a replacement. Swapped it out - no problems. Now it runs like it's misfiring??? It ran fine before the swap - sat for about 2 weeks until I got the chance to get a new battery.

WTF? Is there something I did wrong? Checked the search and came up with squat.

Any ideas, mates? I need my car ASAP without taking it to a mechanic to find out there's some reset button I was unaware of.

No reset button, Ask if anyone in your area has a vag-com for you too use.
This will tell you exactly what is wrong, all error codes will be listed and then you make the repair, Just guessing will cost you more money in the long run.
