Does anyone know for sure the diameter of the exhaust pipe coming out of the muffler. I am trying to match the inlet side for an exhaust tip. I believe it's 2.5." The tip is reduced down into the actual pipe. So the OD of the tip is not the issue. They make the damn things in every conceivable mm size, and I don't want to make a $100 mistake.

 

I do know the stock exhaust size is 2.5", but cannot remember if it is flared coming out of the muffler to fit over the resonator pipe. Help for him anyone?

Think I estimated it at around 2 3/8ths post-muffler. Coming into the muffler is more like 2 1/2.
