Default ESP problem

Hello, the ESP warning light keeps coming on and staying on and then unexplicably going off later. I have read some of the other posts on this issue and so I took it in to get the error codes and it "passed" without even one error code showing up. Any ideas what's going on?

Thanks!

the light often times leads to a bad maf. Clean the maf and see if that helps

I know this is a super noob question, but what is the maf? An air flow meter? How do I clean it?

Thanks,

Inibalir

Yes, Mass Air Flow meter. It is attached to the airbox and to clean it, just remove the housing from the box and spray it with maf/electronics cleaner

Yeah, I cleaned it. Light is still on. The idle is great now though! It is weird...it is usually off when I start it but then comes on a minute or so later.
