alright!!!!!!!
well the problem was actually quite simple...i replaced the spark plugs and the battery, and fired up the engine...voila!!!!!!! good as new...
i drive it about 25 miles keeping the RPM below 3500 and then changed the oil, no problems, checked the coolant for oil...no problems.
I am going to drive the car another 5-800 miles and change the oil again before calling it a complete victory.
This job and troubleshooting would have been impossible without a good OBD tool, which i recommend to everyone.

good work. You may want to invest in a magnetic drain plug if you dont have one. That would help keep the metal shavings from getting recir back to the engine/turbo
