Recently my engine has unprovoked started to cut off completely and stop when driving in normal speeds, and the engine failure warning comes on. Sometimes it's possible to restart almost immediately, sometimes this takes 15 minutes. The warning light disappear as soon as the engine fires up again.
The car is a 2002 TT 150hp roadster with 130' km on the metro.

When the power cuts, it feels like the engine is cut off from the electric supply (headlights, display etc still working).
Searching this forum I noticed that some similar but not identical problems have been related to the defect camshaft/crankshaft position sensor.
Any experiences with similar problems?
