Well trust me i wanted to go that route also..... And read everything i couldd about them. The 2871 kit is a 2871 yes but.... the houasing is changed and flanges to fit the stock mounts which means your severly limiting what the turbo can do becuase of the confinements to stock parts. If your turbos blown then it may be a good swap cuase well your gonna spend $$ getting a new turbo anmyway.. But as an upgrade the best numbers i saw were 250 whp which i should be able to get out of my stock turbo with bolt ons. If your replacing a stock turbo cuase its blown and undrivable = Yes ....as power upgrade = No

yes with new intake mani,,,throttle body, exhaust mani, fuel pump, injectors,FMIC, tuning should be very easy to hit 350whp if not more
people with my mods run around 310 crank hp (thats with the stock K04) have dyno graphs for proof. so even with the all wheel driveline i;m sure its still over 250whp

I think he got confused and was talking about a 2871 stage 3 kit ( he mention exhuast manifold ). I doubt very seriously a 2871r eliminator which uses existing manifold would get at very best 300. Thats with full 3" exhaust dp inatke fmic... like 25 psi 100 octain.

he said intake manifold, not exhaust manifold.

I figure he was just confused...and thought we were talking about a reg kit not eliminator...at least what i can figure lol Cuase ive never seen an eliminator make that much hp.
