Default Electrical Problem with Starting.

Yesterday I went out to start my 2002 Audi TT 225 it wouldn't start so I jumped it and it started up just fine. A few miles down the road my tach and speedo needles both went to 0 and the low battery voltage light lit up. I pulled into the next Advanced Auto Parts and they tested the alternator and was good. I scanned the ECU found a low battery voltage fault code. I replaced the battery and the car started fine, ran fine, but then the same thing happened again this morning. I was unable to start the car at all on on my first attempt, the second attempt was succesful but once we pulled the leads from the battery the same thing happened, The tach went to zero, and the car appeared to idel roughly and inconsistentlyAlso, FUSE was displayed in place of the trip meter. Any thoughts as to which fuse it might be, alternator, starter?

I would multimeter (test) all fuses first. It'll only take 30 minutes max anyway.

This is an interesting post. I am curious as to what could cause this problem. Keep us posted if you pinpoint the problem.
