want to know a good way to get them to settle? put it on a body lift, cycle them through the range of compression buy raising and lowering vehicle (on the lift). then take it out and do some hard braking to shift vehicle weight forward for compression. i had those coils on my corrado. took almost a year to settle. most cars are setup a little higher in the front. thats why alot of us buy coilovers. much easier to dial in ride heigth.

I would guess puting it on a lift and up/down about 100 times would do it

Contacted the ppl I bought them from and they assure me that, it is for 04 TTQ. So checked around with ppl who installs springs. They also tell me that is Eibach's Pro Kit design. And that as stated in previous post, ppl tend to cut 1 coil from their front. Making the drop look even. They say it won't affect handling or smoothness of the ride. Really think I am gonna cut them. It's bugging the hell outta me.

Man. I have always heard that cutting coils makes the spring bouncy.. same with applying heat. Be careful. It would bug the hell out of me too. I dunno what I would do but I would def. not be happy with it. So what happens if you cut the spring, and then the settle and its too low?! Kinda screwed by then I guess.

Might want to call Eibach and ask them why their kit is so gay.

Sorry man, shitty situation.

Friend of mines installs lots of Eibach springs. And he is telling me that since Eibach made such a stiff spring, even though you cut it. It will not make the car bounce. As it is now, it doesn't even bounce. It's feels just a little bit stiffer than stock. He says he has cut many springs by just 1 coil and it does even out the drop. Maybe I will wait and put rims on the car first. Then cut 1/2 a coil to see if it helps. If not then will go with 1 coil.

The install guys tell me that if you cut H&R, Tein etc. It will make the car bounce more due to them not making a stiff spring. Eibach is the only one that you can cut and will not affect performance or ride. Damn they better be right.. lol. Don't think Eibach sells just 2 springs.

^that doesn't make sense. Cutting a spring raises its springconstant, increasing the stiffness.
so by this logic, if you cut an H&R spring enough to the point where it's as stiff as the eibachs, then its ok to cut it?

Anyway, the last thing I would do is cut them, I thought they only did that on 90's Civics...
