I have installed my EFU that i recieved last week. I pluged in everything and cut the right stalk wire. I have doubled checked the connections but when I turn on my car all i get the message " Start System" in the upper window of the DIS. I can scroll my lower window, but i cannot do the top. Im not sure if the unit that i recieved is faultly ? What can i do? I have tried following the RESET instructions but cannot get it to do that.

Any suggestions would be great. Im going to email techreactions, but their website is down. :/

I hate to break it to you but your the only one i know that has got one of these displays. So your kind of on your own. I hope the guy becca gave you can help, i hate to see you not get it to work and kill becca's dream mod.

tottaly. I tried to start hte system but there are no switches or any thing outside of the box. It just has connectors. TO mee it seems that someone didnt program the EFU correctly .... Im going to email CXI in germany. They are the orginal makers of the EFU... I just want it to work. Install was pretty simple. One thing i didnt like that the oil temp sensor comes in the form of a oil drain plug. I cannot use my magnetic one i bought from ECS[:'(]

 

Hey I did a little searching and I found this fotki page of someone else with the efu 4u.
Seems like the start system is common. Maybe you could ask him for help?

After sending around 10 emails today to whoever i could ffind that installed a EFU I hope to get a response by tomrrow. I am still suck on the screen as you can see in the following picture. It seems that this has come up for other people so there should be a way to get rid of it.
