"Spool down"?!?! Never heard that term before. Yes, the turbo spins faster resulting in less respool time and fights compressor surge better. Those are the main reasons to move it to where it should be from the factory.

I think its funny he still thinks that the temp before the turbo really matters. A piston dv like most run dont care about the temps and the turbo and compression negate the "cooler" air.
