So I was taking someone out to Fresno today and decided to stop at the Audi dealership... which is the only one around. I walk in demanding to test drive the new TT, they say there not letting anyone drive it. I talk to em and talk to em, look it around, and a homeless guy comes up and asks if he can test drive it, 2 minutes later asking for change...

Then he pulls it out after he leaves, and tells me to fill in my name and number on this piece of paper. Then tells me to hop in. Its nice, real nice... handle's, drives, moves!... and the s-tronic transmission is sumthin to get used to but its real quick...

He really thought i had the money to buy one... LOL!!!

 

I'd love to seethe homeless guy hand over his paper bag full of cash,which they thought held a 40oz of old english, to the porsche dealer down the roadand drive away with a boxster instead. Waving his middle finger and honking as he drove by.

But that only happens in movies...
Besides, I'm with him. A 40 in hand is worth 2 TT's at the lot.


I like the front and back of the 2008's, but the sharpbodyline on the side bothers me. It's not as obvious in pics, but sitting next to my car it doesn't work for me.

 

The new TT is awesome, I cant wait to get mine and add the chip, exhuast, and CAI. For only 200 hp the car is already considerably faster than the older TT's and the chip and exhaust will make it just as fast or faster than the 3.2. Plus the potential to up the HP even more will be there too. Audi has improved alot of the areas that gave the older models some trouble and I think it looks great and drives better too.

Quick question if the new TT can do 0 - 6o in 6.1 secs, and you add 50 HP from the chip, exhaust, CAI what would the new time be around?
