Default Driving to work today...

On the freeway this morning going a cool 18 mph in LA traffic, I was admiring my car in the overly-chromed rear bumper assembly on a lowered Hummer H2 when I noticed thatmy left orange parking light wasout. In the 8 or so hours I will be at work, maybe one of you could let me know if it is an easy replacement or do I need to have someone tear apart the entire headlamp assembly?
Thanks in advance.

It depends on how dexterious you are in working with your hands in a tight area with limited visiblity. Here are some good instructions to take a look at, of course, he has the headlamp unit out, but it shows you how each of the lights are accessed.

How do you change out the front Turn Signal/Parking Lamp bulbs

What bulbs are used for the Front Turn signal/Parking Light, and where do you get them?

I bet you even had the "dang... i love my car" thought going through your head too!

It's okay, I do this on a daily. [:-]

You might want to try banging the headlight with your hand - in some - like my own - connections losen and it may come back on - save you alot of effort - that is unless you enjoy disassembling your front end to find that out

For some reason my lights both go on and off intermitently - can't explain why...

I hear that's a good way to fix most electronics!

funny.

I 'fixed' my headlights in the 180 like that, AND fixed my TV like that. well, at first, eventually had to move to a small hammer. Was one of those old console TV's. Wood splinters everywhere!

Thanks for the info. I was hoping the "banging" method would work. No luck. Looks like I have a project for the weekend!

its not that difficult really. after fiddling in there for awhile you should be able to do it with your eyes closed.
