Drifting?????
Hey guys I am starting to wonder if maybe my quatro isn't working right. I didn't think anything of it untill again my back end broke loose and started a powerslide around the corner again. This is the second time that this has happened. Both of the times were around 50 mph. Is this normal or is that just plain too fast for the Quatro TT. What do you guys think?

wow Thats pretty fast when your *** wants to pass the front. haha Well both of my times were about 90 degree turns so they were pretty sharp. They were both at about 50 mph and the two different people on being a girl in the car just about sh@# them selfs. I was like wow that wasn't supposed to happen.

sorry boys mine just grips and goes around corners 01 tt quat with 19axxis wheels nitto 555 and a koni shock and strutt system will do that for u.
one question u breakin em loose wiith the track cont off?
If so how often do u drive with the esp off because i def notice i power increase with it off but don't kno if it is unsafe for the cars health to drive with it off all the time.

I was breaking loose w/ 18 Rs4's and the quattro system. I was just pushing my luck. Plus Ive got stock sport suspension bridgestone so3's and an a4. If I had a little tt Im sure I would have stuck like glue. I was racing my uncle in his boxster and he only slowed down becuase he saw my slide, but his car handles great with the mid engine set up.

Driving with ESP off is fine, its putting all the driving back on you, instead of the car doing all sorts of little corrections behind the scenes.
Basically, the car knows how far you have the steering wheel turned, and it also has yaw sensors and some other technical stuff, if it doesn't think you're turning as much as you want to, it uses braking on individual wheels, as well as some engine management i believe, to make the car point where you want it to.
So, you're probably saving on brake wear and tear if you're doing any aggressive driving with the ESP off.
