I've done a search and i can't find any Downpipes on the internet for the 2000 TT 180hp Quatro... Anyone know where i can find one? ...NON EBAY BRAND...

Lame... The damn car has been out for 7 years and they can't figure out a downpipe yet? Sheesh... Guess catback is the only thing to do exhaust wise huh?

 

Yeah I hear that.....My 3" was $600 from 42dd for my 225.....ouch! The 225 is a little better off with 2 companies that fab them. But still the lack of fabbers bring up the price.

Lets see, your car was in production for all of 3 years and competed against a fwd for 3 years and the 225 for 2 years. How many people do you really think have 180quattros and want a dp for the stock turbo?

Yeah I wasn't even looking to get a downpipe for my 180 until the opportunity to be the test prototype for 42 came along (thanks to whoever posted the link to the vortex thread in this forum!) I knew they were a real power and performance gain but I just didn't want the hassle of finding a shop to build a custom pipe. All I can say is that when the downpipes finally are available to purchase and you see/install/feel it you will know why it costs what it does, you will definitely be getting your $$ worth.

 

Well the industry makes tons of other performance parts for the 180 quatro... as well as other non-sport cars made by various manufacturers (like honda ...cough...)... so i figured a downpipe is a pretty simple piece... Oh well.. I'll just do some other simple mods first and just wait for a DP to come out over time.

 

Any ideas of good places to get one fabbed up in NJ?
