Doing Some Headlight Work
I read not too long ago that others are having problems with there headlights not coming on. I have been having this problem for about two months. I have a spare headlightthat I'm using for parts. To get the ignitor switch out and to put it in my other light I need a torx screwdriver that is really thin. Does anyone know what size torx this is? Picture shows the slot area. Looks like the section that holds the bulbs behind the thin amber lens, needs to come out. I'm not sold on the idea that it is definitely the ignitor switch. Thinking maybe the ballast could be the problem as well. Anyone attempted this yet? I may switch out the hid bulbs as well since I don't want to go pulling the front end off again.

RE: Doing Some Headlight Work
I was out changing one of the small bulbs that had blown out (behind my smoked corner) and for the first timeI was under the hoodwith my headlights on without the car running. I heard a high pitch noise coming from the headlight that isn't working. It didnt last very long before it stopped. I turned the car and headlights off and than back on and it started making the noise again.
