I took it to autozone but they dont have an answer their computer only scans domestic cars. so mechanic told me it can be the MAF or the O2 sensor
my car has a slow acceleration. any help will be appreciated.

It could be your MAF or a vacuum leak. Try cleaning the MAF ...common issue. Do a search on the process...pretty straight forward and see if that clears the code.

I had the same problem before. Code P1128 is bad MAF sensor. But for me I had the more then more code. I had to spent 400 for a new MAF, New Ignition coil, n new O2 sensor. To be safe bring the vehicle to check at the machanic shop they can run a full test for you. (Beware they charge for check up)

I had the same issue. I tried unplugging the maf. It made no difference. I replaced the maf and the code went away.

I would clean the maf good, then check for vac leaks.
