Wow, even with a unbias comparesion post before yours, you are still a stubburn individual spitting out BS. One of these days you will believe in what others do everyday for YEARS!!
So you're lucky. Big deal. The question implied that the guy was going to do the diode mod without a chip. Again, that's stupid if you don't make adjustments for fuel. And, it's not BS. You can hit 25+ psi with the diode if you don't have overboost protection. You wanna run 25 psi on stock fueling? Go ahead.

BTW, why do you have to act the prik all the time?

See how you make yourself look? You make stuff up and act like i said it. Not once did i say i or anyone would run 25psi (that would be f'ing retarted)or that a diode was better than a chip. You REALLY need to read. Also overboost? You are running a mbc, you wont overboost, not to mention spike above your set psi with proper boost control.

Me a prik? You can continue to follow and enjoy your life as a lemming while i actually help people and give them FACTS and you can spread more lies. Have fun.

Hey cincy so ... lets say i do get a chip ... lets say apr and they set my boost to 19... the mbc would only be requireed to up the boost right... then would i have to retune it or does the ecu adjust by itself

The slight increase in airflow is well within the ecu's ability to compensate.

okay i know we are talking about tuning. well the 225 TT has bigger injectors and with the help of a 4 bar fpr it would help. some say i wouldnt run stock but the TT 225 has bigger injectors that would hold the load. about tuning, i am running the diode mode and MBC at 16 -17 psi and i am getting readings on my wideband of 12 to 11.8 so not bad. i really cant run or at least i dont know if i can run more timing because i live by the beach so its hotter than... nevermind its just hot so i might be able to add +1 timing but no more untill i get a front mount intercooler. one thing i am going to do though is run water injection since i already have one and be okay for now.

those running diode + MBC what setting do you have your fueling at and timing at 20 psi?
