made in germany my ***..those 4bars arejust under the guise of being made in germany..they're really made at kathie lee gifford's sweatshops in singapore

no, there are ones that are made in China and that is printed on them. The ones you get from ecs are and havent had one problem with those. Steve would make you believe they were lower quality though.

Picked up an ecs adjustable 3-5 bar fpr...it's preset at 3bars, like stock...no problems..up it to just under 4bars, and detonation starts. So now it's obvious the problem wasn't with the original 4bar that came from modshack...what in the world would cause my car to detonate everytime a 4bar fpr is run, but not with a 3 bar? Anybody heard of this b4?

only thing i can think of is you have something wrong with your injectors. Sounds like the duty cyl is to high and your having these problems. It shouldnt happen, but sounds like it is.

duty cycle. Its the only thing i can think of right now that may cause this. Do you have anything attached to the vac source for the fpr, like a boost gauge or something?

yea I have the boost guage attached to it..just installed maybe a few days before..no detonation with just the boost guage, but apparently it is with that and the 4 bar

move your gauge to the dv line and dont T into the fpr line. That has caused issues to some in the past and seems to be the cause here also.
