Question Deep and wide?????

So I was looking at my TT yesterday and I got to thinking....

I want to lower my TT about an ince and a half and scoot the wheels out between a half to an inch... That's right I'm talking wheel spacers. I know it seems dumb but I think these two changes would make her more beautiful and would making her wider, lower and stiffer make her handle better?

Let me know what you think!

FYI, if your tires stick out past the fenders they are going to kick up water/mud/dirt every time you run it over. Pretty much your car is going to get dirty much easier.

no springs will lower the TT justice.

assuming ET-35, which my Fliks, and i believe stockers are, 12mm spacer in front and 20mm in rear works out pretty nice. as for lowering... crap.. i must have lowered close to 3" considering i could just about make a fist and slide my hand across the top of the tire. negative gap now, wheel is tucked. might mention that im not running my spacers with the car this low. you'd have massive rub. cant advise on coilovers, i went for the high end option and never looked into anything less. dunno what the budget choices are.

3" probably looks really cool but it's not exactly what I'm going for. I found some springs that lower the TT 1.75", can I still use wheel spacers with this sort of drop?

16mm up front, 20mm rear is nice on a 35 offset wheel

when lowered I have practically zero rub unless I am fully locked and turning the maximum radius

i think h&r race springs lower the car plenty but coilovers are going to be the better option imo. I currently have h&r race springs on my 225 and i would like to get a set of vmaxx coils.
