A turboback is a downpipe and a catback, they dont have to be purchased together or the same brand. Calling it a turboback means your entire exhaust is changed. As for power, both are seeing between 7-10whp and about the same if not more in wtq. As for the ic, you will maintain your peak numbers since you will always be able to cool the charge far better since you wont have any heat soak and can often times increase the timing with it. Just to give you an idea, i made 197whp and 292wtq one run and then it dropped to 190whp 258wtq on the next due to heat soak on the stock core.

lennyauitt- i just went and checked out the turboback exhaust systems...first off they are very nice, the one i looked at was made by APR and it will set you back around 2,400 dollars. Basically your given every thing from the custom downpipe straight off the turbo, highflow cats....its all nice if you can afford it, im in college so the money is in small quantities haha

A turboback will gain 15hp with a stock K04, and about double with a chip...Revo is an aggressive tune, so it'll like it

2400 for a turboback tmoney is just wrong...

for my 180q... ~500 for dp and 660 for catback will put me at ~1160 for a turbo back which is less than half that 2400...

look around, youll find options

maybe for a 180q, for a 225 it seems to be a bit higher

ttkid sorry bout that misunderstanding, i was looking at a system for a 225 from apr that gave you everything, ur way of just goin out and gettin each separate component seems to be the more logistical way of doin it

The 42dd downpipe for the 180 and 225 is under $500 and most catbacks are in the $600-800 range or you can save more money and have a custom cat back made for about $400.

tmoney... check out ttstuff.com for the downpipes...

and then anything from a borla, to magnaflow, to blueflame, to custom catback will put you the rest of the way and far cheaper...

i just have a 3'' dp into a 3'' exhaust dump, then if i want i can just close the dump vavle and its an OEM exhaust...
