Default Cutting front bumper support bar

So I was wondering if anyone has cut the aluminum Bumper bar that is under the plastic bumper I want to cut a notch out of it so my FMIC will fit within the plastic bumper but the bar looks like it is probbaly structeral or if anyone knows a good way to fit a 31.50in. wide, 10.30in. tall, and 3.50in. deep. 2.75in. inlet and outlet. ( with endtanks ) I could use some advice as it currently sits it would stick out about 3-4 inches but with 2 small notches in the bumper bar it could slide up enough to be completly covered by the stock plastic bumper

Crashing is a big concern of mine there are way to many horrible drivers around Ft. Bragg It's a good day if I can cruise to taco bell w/o a redneck in a monster truck viewing me as a turning lane or somebody on a cellphone trying to road rally there SUV

The amount most take out isnt enough to harm its function much. Eurojet makes a replacement for there kits, he could always do the same if he/anyone feels uncomfortable cutting it
