Yeah, I will live with battered seats, and use 4k for the GT28RS. But that might be for the headliner, and other parts too. Im looking to redo the fronts for maybe a maximum of ~ $1000.

$4K will buy you a lot of seat... For that price (if I was Crazy) I'd buy some OEMcarbon fiber porsche GT3(?) seats.

What are those second seats? - Do the porche seats heat the same as the TT seats? - Use the same controlls?

The second seats look like they're from a 996 turbo. Both look really nice, and insanely expensive (for me.)

Thing to keep in mind when re-conditioning your seats, is what kinds of funds are you going to see returned on your investment. If fixing your seats isn't completely needed or isn't going to give you much of a return, I suggest saving the money and placing it elsewhere as no one likes to just BURN money.

Good point. I don't plan on selling it, so literal return is not being played.I would rather spend the money on a bigger turbo, but I am having the seats done as a gift, (as long as it isn't too much over $1k.) The turbo and everything else performance wise, I must do cost-budget analysis more thoroughly.

Yup, just make sure your insurrance company knows about the money your investing and its covered. - i'll be like $2 more a month, but if you total your car you'll get your money back...which is always a good deal
