This is how I want my exhaust, but thats gonna take some serious work, and I'm pretty sure the gas tank is in the way.

This might be easier, but theres still some clearance issues, and you'd really need longer side skirts to hide everything and make a good place for the exhaust to exit with the heat shield.

If someone wants to buy me a nice foam filled fuel tank I can drop in the back, and I can free up some room pulling the gas tank out, I'll run the exhaust where ever you want.

Tons of room, what with the bigger fuel tank and all....

I will someday have an exhaust exiting my car opposite the filler cap, but not until the day I don't have a stock fuel tank anymore. I've looked it over and over, and its either remove the tank and do a little bit of cutting, or keep the tank, and do a huge amount of cutting, possibly heat and reshape the fuel tank, and maybe make the wheel well just a little bit smaller on the inside edge.

I did plan ahead though, because I don't want rain getting in my upward facing exhaust, so I have a couple of these kicking around the apartment.

and while looking for that pic online, i found this one, so I'll just post it, dunno if anybody wants to look at it or not....
