Default CRUISE CONTROL not working

Hi fellas , my tt 225 roadster is an awsome car but my cruise control for some reason has stoped working.
Check fuse box but theres no fuse under cruise control.
Any Help?

My cruise gives me trouble because my clutch is slipping, but thats replaced today

Could possibly be the brake switch or clutch switch.

I had my clutch pedal fixed because it stayed to the floor.
I guess that might have something to do with it
Can someone tell me how i can see if the switch is connected?

It's at the pivot point of the clutch pedal. You may need to drop the lower dash piece to see it.

i tried to take the lower dash piece off but was a strugggle. Couldnt get it off but i saw an electrical connection going to the clutch. It was connected , could this be it.
if not some directions to taking thedash off wouldbe great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Removing driver's storage compartment



1-
Driver's storage compartment

Removing



–
Unclip left dash panel end trim



–
Unfasten bonnet cable in passenger compartment



–
Unscrew bolts -2- (3x).



–
Unscrew bolts on side



–
Pull driver's storage compartment -1- out of clips -4- (3x).



–
Pull mounting frame outwards to side.



–
Set down driver's storage compartment.



–
Unplug connector to rotary light switch



–
Squeeze fasteners -5- (3x) and unclip diagnostic connector -6-.

Installing



–
Guide holder -3- into mount at pedals.

Bolts (3x)

Holder

Clips



5-
Fasteners



6-
Diagnostic connector













Unscrewing bolts on side



–
Unscrew bolts -2- (3x).









Unplugging rotary light switch connector



–
Press retainer tabs -arrows- and unplug connectors -1- and -2-.

if the idle or RPM at speed is unstable it will turn off the cruise and that goes for breaks like a bulb out is seen by the ECU as you pressed the break peddle

just did some reading on the cruise and apparently its run by the ECU so it needs VAG to check for problems and even to turn it on

this has happend to my 02 225 coupe. i took it to a shop and they say that the switches are known to go bad or they will just start working again. but i just decided to wait it out and about 2 weeks later it just started working again..
