The corrosion under the plastic sleeve was pretty obvious on my OEM FSB. Easy to check, and after getting a C-clamp, pretty easy to get back together...

my symptoms:

fronts - definitely fsb. i drove around w/ the end links bolted off and the squeeking in the fronts reduced drastically. when the man gives me my refund, im gonna invest in this: http://www.mjmautohaus.com/catalog/p...roducts_id=829

rears - 75% sure it's the spring binding. i looked at the boxes of crap in my garage and found the rear perches WITH the washers. ugh. gonna have to either prop the washers in there or the perch w/o the adjuster.

Rear toe is adjustable if you go to the right alignment shop.
My alignment guy used a some hydraulic wedge to get the toe just right.

so i threw on my FSB powerflex bushings and *gasp* my rear perches in the rears.

powerflex's are awesome. squeek/creak is gone. great $40 investment.

as for the rears... ya... the creak when the springs bind on the trailing arm got to me. so i threw my rear perches back ON and threaded down to the lowest setting. to my surprise, there was really no major height difference w/ the perches OUT and with the perches IN threaded all the way down. maybe a 5-10mm difference, but it's hardly noticable.
