a couple of problems!!
lately my temp gauge is acting a wierd....needle keeps jumping from normal to cold then normal. this only happends when the engine has fully warmed up and crusing the streets
i had a code pulled and it said something about coolant temp sensor..but this was a cheap autozone code reader...i have a friend with the real tool i will recheck all the codes later on tomorrow or this weekend.
sometimes i would get in a hurry to one location and another and would shut the engine off right away then when i come back out to start it, it would not start...it'll keep cranking for a good 5-10 seconds before it actually starts, and when it does it would idle between 2000-2500rpm. i give it a little gas and the throttle would get stuck then rpm slowly drops down. obviously the car would run like ****....then the next day it would start normal and drive normal. could there possibly be a vac leak? check engine light likes to turn off and on a lot of times too...
any help would greatly be appreciated.

Replace your coolant sensor with a green top one. May sensors (black top) were defective.
Turn your car on, wait till it says "ok" then start/crank the engine over. I don't think your letting your fuel pump prime.
