Default Coolant Leak

Trying to figure something out....If i dont have the car on and i put coolant into the car and it runs right out is it possible that its leaking from the water pump...Or does the car need to be on before it reaches the water pump?

Check your coolant flange.
It's located on the driver side of the cylinder head and also contains the temp sensor.

I had a similar problem. Was dripping all over the belts (passenger side) and ran down into the skid plate. Nothing like pulling the skidplate off to change the oil and getting a coolant shower. My problem was the lower expansion tank hose. Seen here: http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-TT_MKI...oses/ES251609/ . The plastic Y connecter tends to crack. Go out and feel around this piece under your hood or watch it after you pour in some D2O. Make sure you order some G12 while your at it for combined shipping.
