I'm a traditional truck guy, but im looking to buy my first car and im looking at the TT. My problem is im fairly tall at 6' 2" and 190lb, and theres no dealer where i live so it's hard to test drive them, i was just wondering how they are with interior room and if i would be cramped.

Also I'm a big bass head, and I know some German wiring systems are confusing, is it hard to get after market components in Audi's?

Or any other information for a potential buyer would be sweet

got a friend who's 6'7" and he's comfortable in the pass. seat. but hasn't driven it, my brothers about 6'2" and is comfortable driving my car. I don't think you'll have a problem with that. Looking up at traffic lights is a little tricky when you put the seat back, but I'd consider that pretty minor.

I have a 2001 TT Coupe and I'm 6"4" and fit just fine. As a matter of fact I commute 1.5 hours per day each way in my TT and find it very comfortable. However, the roadster was much much tighter and I couldn't fit well in that car at all. So for you IMO I would say coupe - YES roadster NO NO WAY!

Yea no problems with driver space, LOTS of headroom, but the pad on the center console bumping your knee can get old quick. If you have a long commute on a daily basis , then you may wanna spend some time on a extended test drive , and see if the noise levels, firm suspensIon ( its very unforgiving), and the seats, are in your threshold limits.

I got into my TT from a volvo s80t6 which has some of the most comfortable seats in a auto - superb. And would eat up the potholed californian highways.

For me it wasn a big sacrificing the comforts of a long wheelbase , luxury car, as the fun factor defintely outweighs the pain of a long journey in the TT.
